„The Marathoners“

The young runner, Felix Kibitok, is at the beginning of his career as a marathon runner. He dreams of a great career in this highly prized sport. With the money he earned from small half marathon races, he supports his siblings in their education and finances cancer treatment for his sick mother. Through a successful marathon career he would make the leap into prosperity.Nancy Kiprop, an experienced marathon runner, is training for the Vienna City Marathon. If she manages to place herself among the top ranks there, she can advance her charity project in her home country. She is also a descendant of the program of Brother Colm O’Connell, the world-famous Irish missionary who laid the foundation for Kenyan long-distance running in the 1970s.
